We came up with a screening program of films for change. In this, we screened a few documentaries awarded with global SIMA awards based on the seventeen goals of sustainable development. We do believe this screening added up the vital knowledge related to pros and cons of sustainability of any sorts of development projects going on at our locality and around the globe.
An event in association with SIMA studios where we screened 17 films at different locations of Pokhara Valley.
Besides screening, we had a short discussion session in each screening location with all the viewers of the documentaries whose constructive and innovative ideas were published in the channels of World Merit. We’ll also presented energetic youth leads of our locality in the screening event from whom enrolled students got highly benefited.

The annual SOCIAL IMPACT MEDIA AWARDS are the official global media competition of SIMA STUDIOS, a 501(c)3 non-profit impact media agency. We support and celebrate creative impact projects of excellence, screen films in communities and classrooms worldwide, and connect international audiences and organizations with the best GLOBAL IMPACT CINEMA. SIMAx are film events hosted by SIMA Ambassadors and Partners around the world. Through local film screenings and discussions, communities come together to engage in global conversations that inspire dialogues, ideas and transformation. The ‘x’ in SIMAx refers to your community, i.e. SIMA Berlin, SIMA Phnom Penh, SIMA Nepal, etc.
In line with the conviction that sustainable social change is possible when local leadership drives the direction of local development, SIMAx gives community organizers the opportunity to lead by providing a platform to inspire, educate, launch solution-based campaigns, raise awareness, mobilize support, and build community around global issues in your own local communities.
